What is Erosion Control and Management?


In today’s environment, erosion control and management is the practice and process of preventing or controlling wind or water erosion in agriculture, construction, land development, coastal areas, and river banks. Mitigation methods to prevent disturbing land, or soil erosion, typically involves planting trees, grasses and native vegetation to slow the movement of water across a site and trap the soil to prevent it from running off into nearby waterways.
